Mark G. Huber, Jr. joined Financial Foundations, Inc. in August 2014 as a Portfolio Analyst and since has been promoted to Advisor in April of 2022. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County with a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Economics. Previously, he worked as a Budget Analyst contracted in support of the Defense Health Agency.
During his tenure with Financial Foundations, Inc., Mark has proven his commitment and drive to provide the highest quality service to our clients. Since joining the firm, he has acquired his Series 7 & 66 registrations, as well as, Life & Health Insurance for the state of Maryland. He was rewarded the Charter Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation in February of 2022. The CFA® credential is one of the most respected and recognized investment designation in the world as it demonstrates competency in advanced portfolio management, financial expertise, and technical skills, underpinned by ethical conduct and the highest standards of practice.
Mark spent 8 years assisting financial advisors with financial planning, providing recommendations for the positioning of clients’ assets, and analyzing current and new financial products for appropriate client use. He also oversaw the firm’s financial planning software and assisted 401(k) plan implementations and served as a main point of contact. After years of behind the scenes, Mark was promoted to Advisor in April of 2022, giving him the ability to work face-to-face with some clients requiring his expertise.
Mark became a father in September 2017 for the first time, then again in 2020, and resides with his wife and sons in Winfield, MD. He is a huge fan of the Orioles, Ravens, and Caps, and enjoys spending time with family, traveling, bicycling, and attempts to play golf in his spare time.
